In 1991, he ventured into mortgage banking, beginning his journey as a loan originator. His mastery of in-house and media-driven originations and the creation of a thriving referral-based business earned him the title of #1 originator at a prominent national mortgage bank. By 1999, his exceptional leadership qualities and forward-thinking became apparent as he championed the significance of the branch concept in the mortgage industry. His visionary approach led to the establishment of a branch division, overseeing the successful launch of 30 branch offices spanning 15 states. These branches consistently closed an average of over $750 million yearly.
